Micro Needling in Lancashire

For the treatment of acne scars, large pores, fine lines and wrinkles.

Traditional micro needling is a popular treatment for skin rejuvenation. It is a natural yet very effective way to treat:

What is Micro Needling?

The treatment involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with micro-needles, creating a superficial trauma to the skin-this then triggers an auto-immune healing response to repair damaged/scarred or renew the appearance of ageing skin with the formation of healthy new skin tissue, including collagen and elastin.

By forcing a healing process within the skin healthy skin is then restored, scars fade, fine lines and wrinkles are reduced and thinning crepey skin is conditioned.

At Anti-Ageing Aesthetics have taken the traditional micro needling treatment to the next level! We create thousands of micro medical needle columns into your skin, With our EDS micro needling device whilst infusing your skin with calcium professional serum!

Calecim Professional serum powered by stem cell science Is a potent mixture of proteins, and growth factors obtained from umbilical cord lining to strengthen the tissues & increase cell turnover, for faster wound healing. After the micro needling procedure the skin is far more absorbent, making it the perfect time to use stem cell serums to improve skin health, promote skin rejuvenation and give amazing, lasting results.

To push the boundaries even further, we finish off the treatment by treating the skin further to 20 minutes under our LED Dermalux light therapy… LED Phototherapy is based on the principle that living cells are able to absorb and are influenced by light this will help to soothe the skin and stimulate recovery.

How long does it take to see the results of Micro Needling?

It can take up to six weeks before you see signs of regeneration and repair, although the process continues to work over the following months, leaving you with natural, long-lasting results. A topical anaesthetic is applied to ensure the treatment is comfortable throughout. Immediately after the procedure you will look as though you have moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warmer and tighter than usual. This will subside after one to two hours and will return to normal within 24 to 36 hours.

How many sessions of Micro Needling will I need?

For best results, 3 procedures are recommended approximately 6 weeks apart. We do recommend suitable products to soothe and calm your skin as well as sun protection to further protect and enhance the rejuvenation process.
